March was a pretty busy month for our wee family. Mid-month we took a whistle-stop visit to Georgia so I could run the Georgia Half Marathon with my chum, Cory (and to see what was going on with the Atlanta burger scene).

The next weekend we trekked up to central Pennsylvania to visit with Brittany’s family and so she and Nola could attend cousin Amy’s wedding shower.

The end of the month was capped off with a visit down to the National Mall with friends for the Cherry Blossom Kite Festival rounded off with sliders from Lindy’s Bon Apetit. We also got to spend a fair amount of time with David as he drove up to run the Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run with me.

Somewhere in this span Nola was stricken with a high fever and it really was a sour time for us all. But, she has already rebounded and is her normal cheerful, impish self.

March was a good month and this spring won’t be any slower. So, here is to good times ahead.
