Where We Present a Present

Nola received her first birthday gift a wee bit early from her baby sitters (whom we affectionately referred to as her nanny and manny … although we consider them neither), Jill and Jim.

Jill had been watching Nola from her first few weeks on Earth while Jim has been her primary sitter this past semester. It needs to be noted, Nola adores both of them (duh).

We thought it might be good practice for Nola to get some paper tearing and bow pulling under her belt before the Christmas Main Event. Besides, it wouldn’t be very prudent to try to stuff a moderately heavy wooden toy in our baggage.
