Death of a Blog
Posted by Will on February 9, 2011

The other day Brittany and I were discussing a trend. We noticed as our blogging comrades ventured into the Great Unknown of Parenting, their posting consistency dwindled as the time went by. Some petered out like a slow leak while others almost abruptly quit. Not that I’m trying to bag on these individuals but I think we both can now say one thing.
“We get it.”
As you might have noticed on our own blogging abode, what was once inconsistent in the first place, now has an even wider chasm between post dates.
When I come home I essentially have two things I want to do – be with Brittany and get as much Pops and Nola time as possible. I hardly ever crack open my lap top for mindless internet surfing. I have my hands full as it is. I suppose this is where the false perception seeps in that life as we had previously known it is less fun. Life as we know it now is certainly different. Sure, some of the clichés are there but honestly our quality of life and daily excitement are still there.
Our number one these days is our daughter. You don’t want to miss anything as each day she seems a little larger, a little bit more cognizant, and a little bit more personable.
Y’know, I had a wild hair to convert our baby blog into a photo-a-day affair. Looking back now, that seems almost absurd.
So, what I’m trying to say is, the blog is not dead. But it is switching from second to third fiddle in our priorities. More than likely in the coming months it will serve as an occasional-once-a-week-photo-load affair (what you really come here for).
Thanks for sticking with us.

Just like all the other parents I know. You will just slap on a picture of your kid in hopes of making the world forget that you have not been around to update us….Well…..that will of course work. We love seeing pics of Nola and Brit….and I guess Will.
