All in the Family

Posted by on February 12, 2011

This weekend we have had the pleasure of introducing Nola to some extended family.

Friday, two of my cousins came into town as well as David. We shared Friday night hanging out, laughing, telling rib-tickling tales, and life-in-general-catching-up. Of course, it’s not a family event without David taking his shirt off. I’ll spare you the photo(s).

Today, Brittany’s two aunts and uncle trekked down from Pennsylvania to spend the afternoon with Nola. Graciously, this allowed us to take in lunch at Circa and a cookie at Firehook Bakery. While they were unsuccessful at coaxing a laugh, the trio did get reacquainted with the joy of changing a dirty diaper.

Nola with Cousin Kristin.

Just chillaxin' ... to the max.

Sticking a cork in it ... Or a pacifier.

Cousins Alicia and Andrew being regaled by David's tales of folly. We were also “enchanted” by a few tricks up Dave's sleeve.

Fist pound?

A penny for your thoughts, Mommy.

I really need to tell you something! Really!

With Great Uncle Bob and Great Aunts Sally and Fay. They even brought me some Dieffenbach's.

Tuckered, zonked, beat, etc.

No picture of David without a shirt? That’s not fair.

So glad you and Britt took advantage of the Great Aunts and Uncle and went out for lunch! Can’t wait to see all of you in a few weeks. We’ll have more Dieffenbach chips waiting for you :)
